Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actress. She is most famous for her performances in the films Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. Her fame was based on her role as a character in Rectify (a comedy) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). Gulf Breeze Florida native made her debut as an actor in All My Children. To honor her performance she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. She largely played guest parts in TV series throughout the next few years. She was recognized for her portrayal of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Her beautiful appearance and extraordinary acting talents led to her gaining the trust of her fans. Her film debut was at just twenty-something, and she played the role of a girl in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her other movies. The role she played on Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent appearance on TV is in the part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics about her performance in the sci-fi television show Timeless. The actress has also been nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
